Welcome to the Grupa 303 Paragliding Club in the UK. The Club was founded in 2007 after few flying buddies, who recently came to the UK, decided to organise themselves and make flying together easier. Then came this website to allow the communication and easy exchange of information with regards to paragliding in the UK.
The Club's name was chosen to commemorate the heroes of the RAF Squadron 303, one of the 16 Polish squadrons during WWII. It was the most succesful, higest scoring RAF squadron during the Battle of Britain.
Grupa 303 is proudly part of the BHPA (British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association) since 2010. We currently have many members from all over the UK, who take part in all aspects of our sport such as Cross Country flying, competitions etc. Our goal is the same as when we started - to fly together and have fun. See you in the sky!
On 2nd of November 2016 Grupa 303 pilots were interviewed by Polish Radio London. We talked about our history, achievements and future plans. Also as a little treat Grupa 303 will fund a paraglider tandem flight for one lucky listner. All you have to do is to visit our Facebook profile http://facebook.com/grupa303 and tell us why you would like to float in the sky. We will announce the winner on November 23rd.
We proudly announce that Grupa 303 is the winner of 2016 Advance British Club Challenge. After many months of tough and very close competition where results could change until the last round our pilots got the deserved trophy. It is for the first time in our Club history that we have achieved such success. We are very proud of the whole team.
On 9th of August Tomasz Janikowski set new declared open distance record for G303 from Selsley to Worthing. Flying Skywalk Cayenne he set the records in three categories: Open class declared flight, Sport class declared flight and Sport class open flight.
