Hej,

Dziękuję i pozdrawiam

Hi Michal,
Hope you are well, despite the weather.
I am john Nash (Nasher) Chair of the South West Wales Soaring Club – for my sins!
I was wondering if you could assist us with a recent issue at one of our sites.
On the 8th July we had some Polish pilots arrive at our Rhossili site. They clearly did no know the rules and were trying to take off on the cliffs. When one of our members approached them to politely explain the rules, they seemed not to care.
A further approach from our Club Secretary did eventually get them to take off in the correct place, but at least one of them landed on the raised beach, an SSSI and strictly forbidden.
Rhossili is a fabulous coastal site and we welcome flyers to come and fly it, but as popular area for many other sports & recreation (not to mention being voted Britain’s best beach) we have many, but sensible, rules imposed on us by the National Trust.
We are not suggesting for one moment that these pilots are members of you Club and are well aware of the hard work your Club does to promote the sport in the UK. What we are hoping for is that you can bring this to the attention of all your members and, fingers crossed, that the information will filter down to others, so there are no further problems at this site.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me: 07778 577539
